Introducing Treatments

Updates

September 10, 2026

Every director knows the arithmetic. The idea arrives in an afternoon. The document that carries it takes three days.

Those three days are not creative work. They are hunting for a reference you saw once, resizing an image so it sits flush with the one beside it, moving a caption two pixels left, then redoing the whole slide because the type looks wrong at the size the client will open it. It is formatting, and it comes straight out of the hours that were supposed to go into the idea.

Today we're launching Treatments in Genery. It takes that part off your hands.

Alien AI agent

You bring the idea. Alien takes the rest

Point Alien at a moodboard and it comes back with a deck. It reads what you collected, works out what each slide should say and how it should feel, and hands over a finished draft — not a skeleton to fill in, a draft you can send or argue with.

Arguing with it is the point. Every change it makes comes back as something you can keep or revert, so a turn you disagree with costs you one click, not an afternoon of undoing. Nothing you wrote is ever quietly overwritten.

What this buys is not speed for its own sake. It is the difference between spending your evening on the thought and spending it on a text box.

Design layouts

Design with a soul, not a template

Templates are the reason most treatments look like each other. We didn't want a template library, so we didn't build one.

We brought in some of the best designers in the industry and let them work every detail — the typefaces, the palettes, the grids, then each slide in turn. The layouts they drew are the ones Alien writes with, and the ones you pick from when you add a slide by hand. That is deliberate: a slide you place yourself should never look bolted onto the ones the agent made.

The result is a deck that reads like a magazine rather than a business presentation, and — more to the point — one that doesn't look like everyone else's.

For your toughest, craziest ideas

Some shots don't exist. The reference library is enormous, and it still won't have the one in your head, because nobody has filmed it yet.

So you can make it. An empty frame on a slide takes a prompt and fills itself. A frame that already holds a picture sends it along, so the model reworks what is there instead of starting from nothing — the same shot, at night, in the rain, with the car red instead of white.

It runs on GPT Image 2.0 and Nano Banana, and it happens on the canvas. No second tab, no downloads, no dragging a file back into the deck.

Share deck via link

One click, and the pitch is live

When it's done, you send a link.

No exporting, no attachments, no wondering whether the fonts survived the trip. The link opens anywhere, on any screen, showing exactly what you see. And it stays yours: one switch and it goes to a neutral page, so a treatment you shared for a pitch on Tuesday isn't still circulating in October.

If someone insists on a file, the PDF comes out one slide per page with the fonts and the colour intact.

All the must-haves. All on Genery

Search, references, boards, treatments — one place, no tab-hopping. Every asset you need is already here, and whatever you build carries straight into the deck. Change your mind about the board and the treatment follows.

That's the part that's hard to feel from a feature list and obvious after a week: the reason the three days existed at all was that the work was scattered across four tools that didn't know about each other.
