Robert F. Nickson

Partner in Orenda Films and MadLight Pictures. Besides working as an independent producer, often does production consulting, including preparing pre-production schedules and budgets on both studio and independent pictures. He has prepared schedules and budgets for financing and bonding for; Pride and Glory (New Line), Tumbleweeds (Fine Line), Hotel Rwanda (Lion's Gate), Dexterity (Paramount), Histroy of the World (Miramax), Night Train (Goldcrest), Emperor's Club (Universal). Currently also teaches at NYU and is Head of the Producing Program at NYU's Graduate Film School. Teaches international workshops on Independent Feature Financing in European Academies including a yearly course at the Film Program Cannes that uses the Cannes Feature Film Market as the laboratory or emerging producers.
